Summary:

The Synerway Virtual Appliance (SVA) solution is a complete backup and restoration solution using the shared resources of a virtualisation infrastructure. One or more SVAs can be installed in your existing virtual infrastructure. Each SVA enables you to protect up to 1 TB of on-site data.

Who is the solution for?

It is particularly suited to data centers looking to install one or more SVAs on their client sites. The SVA frees users from the constraints of hardware purchase, maintenance and costs related to on-site interventions typically associated with standard backup solutions.

How does it work?

One or more Virtual Appliances are installed on a client-site hypervisor such as VMware, Hyper-V or Citrix Xen. Backups and restorations are always performed locally on virtual Appliance disks. Protected data can be externalised to a remote physical Synerway Appliance, a CIFS network share or physical media.

The client subscribes to a service based on how much data is protected and the service level provided. Your data volumes increase? Simply add another SVA to your virtual infrastructure.
